I met Lee, one of the founders of Original Fuzz, at last year’s Summer NAMM show. I was walking around the edge of the show looking at all of the accessory manufacturers, and the Original Fuzz straps really stood out to me with their interesting patterns.
When I asked Lee about the straps, I learned that they use hand-woven material responsibly sourced from India and Peru. The material is brought to their shop in Florida and assembled into guitar straps.
Lee was kind enough to offer a strap for me to check out, and I selected one of their Peruvian straps. I’ve been using it since then, and I think it’s a really nice and unique strap. However, if you’re not into the unique woven patterns, they also offer a series of less expensive solid straps.
Just about every guitar company makes some kind of guitar strap, but I haven’t seen many that offer hand-woven materials like what Original Fuzz offers. If you’re looking for a unique strap, Original Fuzz is a good place to check out.
