Leslie West will be releasing a new solo album next month titled Unusual Suspects. The album features a host of guest artists including Slash, Zakk Wylde, Billy Gibbons, Steve Lukather, and Joe Bonamassa. I downloaded this CD earlier this evening and am really enjoying it. The best work, IMHO, West has done since Mountain.

The more I listen to the Unusual Suspects, the better I like it. There’s a lot of classic and new guitar material here for beginner and experienced guitarists to be inspired by. Better yet, the CD is comprised of songs – not just jam sessions.
