@R – Yes, it is in fact Eric Clapton in the video and not Eric Johnson as I originally wrote. Oops!
Eric Clapton is going back to his 1989-1991 Journeyman era look with the hairstyle and now tinted glasses.
Not any more.
Eric returned to his “2009 Tour” haircut (at least for the first half of 2011).
I guess he’ll bring back the familiar “yardbird crew-cut” hairstyle early this summer (he already did this hairstyle for his 2008 European Summer tour before growing up his hair again in early 2009).
@Trundrumbalind: YES! I caught this on PBS a week or so ago and it took me a minute to realize it was recent … my first thought was, “Hmmm.. looks like early 90’s.. I don’t remember seeing this before…”
