Mark McGuigan recently posted the video below of a tour through the Suhr Guitars factory. I’ve said before that I love a good factory tour video and this one doesn’t disappoint. An added bonus is a backing track of Guthrie Govan’s “Sevens”:

Thanks for posting. I have had an increasing interest in Suhr since I have noticed one of my all-time favorite players, Mike Landau, using them recently.

This is a nice video. Thanks for sharing. I also like Guthrie Govan’s backing track.
Thanks for posting the video! That would be my dream job right there!
That’s a great video. Simple, to-the-point, and fun to watch! I actually didn’t realize how much of guitar production was still hands-on.
I’m sure that a larger company like Gibson or Fender probably has something more automated to machines. At least some of the tasks. It makes me feel better about Suhr guitars and their personal touch :]
Great Video! I have actually worked with some people from the Suhr company. Great people and a great company! They produce very very nice guitars!
Great video. Thank you for sharing. I love seeing how guitars are made. Although guitars are all made pretty much the same way it is always interesting to see how each factory does things differently. Thanks for the great post.
Kind Regards,
Jeff
Does anyone know if Suhr offers a Nitro-Cellulose finish on any of their guitars?
Thanks!!
Carl
Carl, yes it looks like Suhr offers Nitro finishes.
